March Wrap Up in Books

I can’t believe I read as much as I did this month since I was stuck in Jury Duty for 3 WEEKS!! I KNOW.  You’re not allowed to bring in any electronics so I couldn’t read from my TBR pile since most of it was on my Nook.  I tried reading as much as I could on the train home, but by the end of the day, all I wanted to do was sleep….or have wine.  So I’m kinda surprised I read as much as I did last month.  So without further ado, here’s what I read in March!

Lot’s of Penny Reid because she’s just awesome.  That woman writes chick lit like no other! Along with Beautiful Boss by Christina Lauren! I can’t believe this series is coming to an end.  What am I going to do with my life??  Read some really crappy romance (I should have known better) and then ended the month with some awesome YA novels.  I’ve been on a fantasy kick lately.  The Winner’s Kiss was everything you wanted and more (review and giveaway to come soon!).  And I’m finally catching up on Sara B. Larson’s Defy Trilogy.  My friend Jenn can stop hounding me now.  I’m loving it so far though! How about you? Read anything good this month?

  1. I read Starflight by Mellissa Landers – really enjoyed it! This is Where it Ends – Marieke Nijkamp, Firsts – Laurie Elizabeth Flynn, After the Woods – Kim Savage, Riders – Veronica Rossi, Fearless – Eric Blehm, The Girl From Everywhere – Heidi Heilig, The entire Jacky Faber series – L. A. Meyer – loved this series!!!
The Orphan Queen – Jodi Meadows, The Night Sister – Jennifer McMahon
I read several others, but these were my top fav for the month!
I do want to read the Defy triology, hoping to get to it if not this month, next month for sure.
I like reading the monthly recaps, as I don’t always have time to read all the posts in-between!
