So like the title of this post says, if it’s on Playbill, then it’s official. It’s sort of like claiming your relationship status on Facebook.
Everybody knows you’re really not in a relationship until it’s on Facebook.
I had announced earlier that Hunter Foster would be directing the Industry Reading of On the Air, but the other day, Playbill announced it with the rest of the cast.
In case you missed it, here’s the official Press release.
Paul Masse (Scottsboro Boys, Porgy and Bess) will be our Musical Director with Ruth Gottschall (Mary Poppins) and Obie Award Winner Jonathan Hammond (Ragtime) as Mrs. Clemens and Bob White, respectively. Robby and I will be reprising our roles as Jack and Loretta Clemens with Ryan Vasquez as Fred Tupper. The ensemble will feature Nicole Colòn, Mark Hawbecker, Adam Hill, TJ Larke, Sharon Malane, and Katelyn Spinosa.
We are so thrilled and can’t wait to get started with rehearsals TOMORROW!
This is my excuse for not having a post up for Book Tuesday. I apologize, but I honestly have done NOTHING but prep for this reading for the past two weeks. The other day I spent 2 hours in Office Depot photocopying scripts and scores. Antonio (the gentleman working the copier) and I are now very close.
We also would like to introduce you to the new website for the show!
Go check it out! There’s a bunch of cool stuff on there. “Like” the Facebook page for the show and follow the show on Twitter @OntheAirMusical
While you’re in the “Liking” mood, like the Facebook page for As Dreams Are Made and follow me on Twitter as well! @AsDreamsAreMade
It has been a long and bumpy road to get to this step, but hopefully, this will be the first of many larger steps we take with this show.
Keep checking the blog over the next few days for rehearsal updates and other fun stuff, like this gem:
