So the little bro graduated.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his M.F.A. in Children’s Literature.
Obviously, he’s not very smart. Or talented. He only had to write a BOOK for his dissertation. Ya know, nothing impressive.
We had a small get together with the fam to celebrate and I decided to make a cake for the occasion. Since his degree was in Children’s Literature, I thought I’d decorate the cake with children’s book covers.
Here is the finished product:
The bottom layer is decorated with books that Robby studied and the top layer are the two books he wrote, “The Pen is Mightier Than the Brain” and his dissertation, “The Cloaked Cripple“. I’ve read both of them and they are FANTASTIC! (not that I’m biased or anything)
Seriously though, awesome-sauce.
Here are all the covers up close (in case you were wondering):
What happened you ask? I only sliced my finger trying to cut the wooden dowels for the cake. First baking accident–ever.
Le Sigh.
Good food and fun times were had by all as you can see below!
Our cousins, Anna Maria and Peter are born models. Duh.

So is my cousin Matt:
This is what happens when my cousin decides to steal my camera and create impromptu selfies:
Anybody who knows my brother knows this shot is him. To a T.
Congrats little bro! So proud of you!
Now go and get those books published. Who knows? Maybe I’ll review them for Book Tuesday.
You know you’ve made it when that happens.
