Some Life Updates and a Bit of a Hiatus

Hi all!

I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately, solely posting book reviews (and shamefully ones I’ve had on backup).  I’ve been rather busy this month and am rather far behind on my reading schedule.

Lemme fill you in on a little of what’s been happening.  We were supposed to be doing another reading of On the Air, but due to some scheduling hiccups, we had to postpone it (I’ll fill you in on that later when we know more, but it’s a pretty big deal as to WHERE we’re having this reading!).  About a day later, I was asked to be in another reading which took up the majority of my time.  The bro and I have also been busy making revisions for On the Air and working on our next show before he left for his college reunion in Virginia.

I’ve also been trying to enjoy my summer a bit and didn’t want to spend it locked at my computer working on blog posts.  I started this blog to chronicle our show, my life, books, cooking, and whatever else I want to blog about! The second that becomes a job and I start to resent it, the second it no longer feels like a creative outlet and I stop enjoying it.  Hence the leniency on my reading schedule.

So here’s the plan for the next few weeks so you’re not out of the loop!

• I will be taking a break from social media/blogging the end of the month/beginning of August.  I need time to clear my head, catch up on some reading, and unwind 🙂
• Since I am taking said break, the next week or so, I might be posting more than one book review or whatever else I feel like posting.
• I will be back mid August, recharged and ready to go!!

So that is the plan kiddos! I hope you’ll bear with me for a bit since I have some awesome stuff coming up that you will all be interested in hearing about!
