Like last year, I thought I would try and narrow down my top ten favorite books of 2015. And like last year, there was no way I could narrow it down to 10 books.
What?! I read over 100 books this year! You try narrowing them down to 10…
I might also have grouped a series together and counted it as one…
Don’t judge me.
- Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas
I mean HELLO. Hands down the number one favorite book I read this year. - A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
This is a close second as my favorite. It held the top spot until Queen of Shadows came out. Regardless, the last half of this book undid me. - Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes #2) by Sara Raasch
I read Snow Like Ashes this year as well, but this was my favorite of the series. SO GOOD. The romance, and the characters, and everything.
- Trial by Fire and Firewalker (The Worldwalker Trilogy #1 and #2) by Josephine Angelini
This series. OMG. I need the next book. Now please. Thank you. - Hidden Huntress (The Malediction Trilogy) by Danielle L. Jensen
Such a great follow-up to one of my favorite books of 2014. And the ending on this one? Dying.
- Lion Heart (Scarlet #3) by A.C. Gaughen (but really this whole freaking series)
Let’s not discuss myobsessionlove for Robin Hood. It runs deep. This book/series just took it to a whole new level. - Neanderthal Seeks Human (Knitting in the City #1) by Penny Reid (But really this whole series and anything else she writes)
I accidentally stumbled on this series and I’m so glad I did. I loved this book and the rest that followed. I’ve read practically all her other series now as well and you should too. - Shadow Scale (Seraphina #2) by Rachel Hartman
I enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one completely blew me away. Loved this new Fantasy adventure!
- The Winner’s Curse and The Winner’s Crime (The Winner’s Trilogy #1 and #2) by Marie Rutkoski
THIS ENTIRE SERIES. IT WILL DESTROY YOU. Go read it. - Burned (Fever #7) by Karen Marie Moning
Oh the plot twist! and the Cliffy! and just this whole series. Promise me you’ll read it? Yea? Ok, good.
- The Wild Seasons Series by Christina Lauren
This whole series. Loved, loved, loved it. I can’t believe I never reviewed it on the blog! The fourth one will be reviewed. I promise.
- Truthwitch (The Witchlands #1) by Susan Dennard
Snuck in just in the nick of time and I’m so glad that it did! I loved this tale of two best friends saving the world.
So I stayed pretty close to ten right? Kinda?

Good List! Thanks for sharing!
This is an amazing selection of books. All of them I have either read or plan to read this year! The others I have taken note of since we seem to have similar interests!
Thank you! 🙂
Great list! Definitely adding some to my tbr list!
